Herbal Tea Baths

What are Herbal Tea Baths?

Herbal tea baths are blends of herbs that are placed in a large cloth sachet (large tea bag) and sealed.  By using the cloth sachets, the herbs do not plug any drains or cause any sticking of the herbs to the tub or appliance.  Herbal tea baths can be used in the bathtub, sink or foot bath appliance.  Using the herbal blends in hot water provides benefits from the herbs.

How to use Herbal Tea Baths

Place the herbal tea bath in hot water for 15 - 20 minutes.  Pour the tea blend into the bath and fill with hot or cold water so that it is of a comfortable temperature.  Herbal tea sachets can also be placed directly in a bath of hot water but should be removed after 15-20 minutes.  Soak in the herbal bath for at least 20 minutes to receive the full benefits of the hers.

How to re-use Herbal Tea Baths

The sachets may be re-used by gently removing the excess water between layers of paper towels and then letting it air dry thoroughly.  If the sachet rips or tears, becomes moldy or smells musty, the sachet should be discarded.  Sachets are compostable.
